At a time when such ambitious projects were rare, he pioneered the introduction of extrusion and thermoforming technologies in India, founding Engineering Plastic Industries on a bedrock of innovation, quality, and tangible infrastructure. Today, the legacy of Shri Parasmal Gothi is thoughtfully stewarded by his son, Shri Sanjay Gothi. Founded in 1995 with the fundamental mission to offer medical care to the underprivileged, the Gothi Charitable Trust represents the Gothi family’s deep-seated commitment to giving back to the community. What began as an effort to address immediate healthcare needs has, over the past 30 years, organically grown into a holistic mission of empowerment and compassion, touching countless lives across Puducherry and Rajasthan.
Guided by the evolving needs of the community, our role has expanded significantly. We now champion education by sponsoring the schooling of hundreds of children. We empower women with sustainable livelihood opportunities, such as distributing sewing machines to foster financial independence.

Distributing sewing machines to help girls support family income or earn independently.
Providing free basic healthcare through dispensaries in Puducherry and Rajasthan, treating around 3,000 patients per month.
Outreach medical programs in villages near Pondicherry, treating over 50,000 people in the last 10 years.
Conducting free cataract surgery in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital and Sankara Netralaya, with over 150,000 surgeries completed.
Providing food to new mothers in charitable hospitals, physically challenged school children, and patients in the terminal stages of HIV and cancer – daily / monthly for the last 20 years.
Providing monthly medication for all wards in a nursing home and baby food to orphanages in Pondicherry.
Distributing foot crutches and tricycles to the needy through philanthropic clubs and trusts in Chennai and Puducherry.
Sponsorship of schooling and college education of 100’s of children, with emphasis on the girl child.
Installing computer systems for school children in the village Birantia, Rajasthan.
Donated new patient shelter shed at JIPMER Hospital for cancer department in 2023.
